We Must Stretch Our Minds.
Try and use them less.
When I meditate, chant, pray, vision my single purpose is to be empty. To find the untapped, unseen, untouched places in my mind. To observe.
To empty out and start from nothing.
To remind myself that we don’t make anything happen, we can only uncover. Uncover what is already here. The Buddha, Dalai Lama, Jesus, none of them had something we don’t have, they simply got unattached to knowing and said yes to uncovering, remembering we are totally perfect and whole.
That’s all the work there is- uncovering what our destiny is is, uncovering our greatness, allowing it to shine.
Uncovering our conscious and light, uncovering that child like wonder and play.
Uncover. No making. Uncovering.
You might not like what you see… That’s when you go deeper to uncover more of that you you know you are and love.
When things are rough is when we need the medicine most (the daily cocktail for the soul), the practice, the positive habits, the affirmations, the prayer, the studying, life visioning, meditation, silence- medicine. It’s all preventative. It works.
Preventative – Because life goes on and things will get rough, suffering will happen, I promise.
But we can handle it better because we have done the preventive work, we drank the cool aid, had our daily cocktail of healthy habits the keep us strong, wise and clear.
So when times are rough, our vision, purpose, voice, attitude are clear and rooted in who and what we are – love.
