A scene with 105mm lens looks different than it does with a 35mm lens, same scene, just different. There is no need to argue over which one is more true, both are true, they are merely different levels of magnification.
It is in this way we magnify the stories of the moments in our lives. We zoom in on the pain and the discomfort and we let all the invisible good, all the blessings that are constantly here fall away to the background.
What am I zooming in on? What is in soft focus? What is in sharp focus? We get to choose the lens in which we use to see and live in the world.
