It can be tedious and short lived but we keep at it.
The further you go with these three steps the more you get to truly practice it; in the places it’s really needed – at home, at work, with friends, family, and lovers (this is where it get’s hard)
Your mindfulness practice is just practice for the real thing. Your mindfulness practice is getting you ready for the real practice – taking it outside. Where the world is full of living, loving, tasting ice cream, hugging your child, going for a walk, experiencing loss, etc…
Let these three steps lead you to the truth away form the mat; the truth of the world, your truth within the world.
To be so focused as to be dull = To be so distracted as to be lost.
