Meditation Is Not About Getting Rid Of It, But Understanding Our Relationship To It.

This is why we sit. Not to become better by process of elimination – if I remove a certain amount of so called “bad” things then I am whole, then I have arrived.

What a nightmare, living to get to a place. Like living only to retire? Living to rot? We are waisting our meditations and lives if we are simply pushing for success, pushing so very very hard – that we are missing the point the whole way along?

Meditation is play in it’s highest form, playing with the things that cause us to suffer, making them our music. Are we forgetting to play? Like music, you can’t rush to the end, you don’t work it, you play it. Music is about the process, the journey, not the final result, or else all songs would be one second long and a cacophony of noise. I don’t know that end is unless I decide to make it end, I don’t know that the things we no longer want stop being the means to more things we do want until these things are everything, until THIS is everything.
