“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced perfect love.”
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes before, comes from and is all things life. Anyone who loves (anything) is a child of love and knows love. But anyone who does not love does not know life, for life is love. We’re talking about real love- no one has ever seen love. But we do love each other, yes? Love lives in us, yes? And is brought to full expression in us, yes? We know how great unconditional love is, whether we have had it for a day or a year, and we have put our trust in love. Sometimes we think that love broke us, but it’s really us getting caught up in the details, love never left, priorities, ego, past and present changed, love remains. Life is love, and all who live in love live in life, and whatever you believe in – higher power, lives in that love. And as we live in love, our life grows more perfect. As we dedicate ourselves more and ore to love, we will not be afraid, such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced perfect love. If someone says, “I love you,” but hates a fellow man, that person is a liar; for if we pick and choose our love, is that authentic love? I’m not saying agree with them, like them, but yes, love them. For if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love life, which we cannot see?
If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even the lost and asleep love those who love them. And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward will be great. You must be compassionate, just as you wish for compassion.
