It takes great courage to be happy.
We go missing many things in life because we lack courage. In fact, that is often all that is needed, courage. The courage to be happy.
It’s easy to be miserable, in fact, nothing is needed to be miserable. Everybody can be miserable. Too be ecstatic takes great courage. It is a fight, an uphill journey, it is work of it’s own kind.
Look at your life. Can you call it a blessing? Can you call it a gift, a present? Would you like this gift, this life to be given to you again and again?
People have invested so much into their misery. It defines them. Nobody is holding you there. It is you who decided to remain in the prison of misery.
A man really becomes a man when he accepts total responsibility- he is responsible for whatsoever he is.
That is the great gift of courage, the ability to divorce misery. To lose the oldest habit of the human condition, the oldest companion.
It’s not that it’s very difficult to to stand up, it’s just way too easy to sit back down.
Above all else – It takes great courage to love.
Fear is nothing but an absence of love. Do something with love, forget about fear.
If you love well, fear disappears.
