Change Your Technique, Not Your Aspirations

The outer work can never be small if the inner work is great. And the outer work can never be great if the inner work is small. – Meister Eckhart

Keep the goals. Keep the big dreams. Change the thought processes. Change the stories. This is one of the many reasons why we have a practice. Why we sit, and pray and meditate and eat good food and workout and go to bed early or wake up early or both.

When you come to that place where it’s not working, but the desire and drive and aspirations are still pure – keep those, stay steadfast in those, just change the technique.

“I do whatever works and change it when it no longer works.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
